OrbitFleet: a satellite fleet operations simulator
OrbitFleet is a mission-control simulator for a fleet of roughly 200 low Earth orbit spacecraft. It runs the full operations loop: propagate orbits, emit telemetry, infer spacecraft state, detect an incident, propose bounded responses, ask a human to approve, validate, execute and then verify what actually changed.
The public reference fleet uses CelesTrak general perturbations elements propagated with SGP4. The designed maneuver fleet uses configured orbits with a physical contact model so burns and link reroutes can be compared against a no-action baseline. Health telemetry, faults, customer demand and conjunction risk are synthetic and labeled as such.
An AI advisor may rank candidate actions, but it can only choose from a deterministic candidate set, has no command access, and every fleet-changing action needs human approval and a deterministic validator. Sessions export as portable replay archives.
What you can do
- About 200 spacecraft at 60× simulation speed in 20-minute sessions
- Guided incident story: fault, affected region, proposed response, execution, measured result
- Human-in-the-loop approval with a deterministic validator
- Prepared deterministic replay when live capacity is full
- Exportable telemetry and event logs for inspection
